This Oris Super is a quietly charming example of everyday Swiss watchmaking from the 1970s, a period when practicality, reliability and good design mattered far more than excess or prestige.

By this time, Oris had built a strong reputation for producing honest mechanical watches that were intended to be worn regularly. The Super line sits firmly in that tradition, offering straightforward functionality, robust construction, and a design that feels both purposeful and approachable.

The stainless steel case is compact and well balanced, with clean lines and simple straight lugs that give the watch a slightly utilitarian edge.
