Cartier Must de Cartier Tank Vermeil – Ref. 2415 – Full Set with Box & Papers – Circa 2001

An exceptionally rare full-set example of the final-generation Must de Cartier Tank Vermeil, reference 2415. Complete with its original red Cartier box, warranty papers dated 2001, care booklet, and all accompanying documents — a true “unicorn” in today’s market, as these late-production complete sets virtually never appear for sale.

This is the highly sought-after medium (MM) size measuring 22 × 29 mm, crafted in sterling silver with a thick 20-micron gold vermeil finish. Iconic ivory Roman dial with painted railway minute track, secret Cartier signature at VII, blued-steel sword hands, and the signature sapphire-style cabochon crown. Fitted with a reliable Swiss quartz movement that keeps excellent time.

Condition is honest and very attractive for a 24-year-old piece. The case displays warm, even vintage patina with light surface marks and the typical gentle thinning of the gold plating along the high edges and brancards — exactly the kind of soft, characterful wear that collectors love on these vermeil Tanks. Nothing detracts; it simply adds soul. Crystal is clean, dial is perfect, and the original signed buckle remains excellent. Currently on its original black lizard-grain Cartier strap (still supple and fully usable, though many owners choose to replace it with a fresh one for daily wear).

The ref. 2415 represents the very last chapter of the legendary Must de Cartier Vermeil Tank line before it was discontinued in the mid-2000s. Finding one with dated papers and the original box is genuinely exceptional.
